Heather Barmbagiannis - WINNER

Faculty of Building, Construction, Design and Electrotechnology

As the Project Manager for Women in Trades, Heather has been instrumental in driving innovation in vocational education. She has led the development of a Construction Pathways pilot program, aimed at overcoming gender barriers in traditionally male-dominated sectors.

She also conceptualised a Taster event to encourage more women to trial a trade and collaborated with teaching staff to arrange the activities and communicated with interested participants on ways they could forge a career in the industry.

Her innovative contributions to Holmesglen as well as her tireless efforts to draw more women into trades careers make her inspirational and outstanding. 

Allison Kenneally - WINNER

Faculty of Health Science, Community and Social Studies

Allison is outstandingly creative, with an eye for detail and is extraordinary at producing compliant, interactive, and meaningful assessments and learning materials.

She demonstrates remarkable self-motivation and a penchant for reflection, consistently striving for personal growth.

Her reliability is unwavering, ensuring that any task she undertakes is thorough and compliant. Allison rewrote all resources and assessments for a key course recently that was met with much enthusiasm by her team.

Her proactive approach and dedication to excellence shine through in her work, inspiring those around her.
