AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen. Read more about Recognition of Prior Learning, Credits and Advanced Standing.
Learners are required to participate in a total of 300 hours placement, which includes 2 days per week and 7.5 hours for each day, at a Registered Education and Care service. Start and finish times during practical placement will vary between 6.30am and 6.30pm. This structure offers hands-on training, allowing learners to gain practical experience through real-world work placements throughout the course. They will learn in state-of-the-art early childhood facilities, guided by dedicated teachers and industry professionals sharing their expertise.
Completion of the course requires fulfilling 15 units, including 12 core units and 3 elective units. Elective units have been selected by Holmesglen based on industry feedback. If you've completed other eligible elective units previously, they may count towards course completion.
