COVIDSafe Summer - what it means at Holmesglen
COVIDSafe Summer restrictions are now in place across Victoria and for Holmesglen, along with other adult education settings, that means social distancing restrictions no longer apply in learning and classroom spaces.
For public areas such as receptions areas, outside the information offices and the cafeterias, you will still see signs indicating the maximum number of people that may be in the space at a single time. Please continue to abide by those restrictions.
Social distancing limits of one person per two square metres still apply in staff areas, such as lunchrooms.
All Victorians are still required to carry a face mask at all times, unless they have a lawful reason not to wear one. However, face masks are now only mandatory in certain settings such as shopping centres, on public transport or in taxis or Ubers.
Face masks are strongly recommended in other settings where it’s not possible to keep 1.5 metres physical distance from other people, but they are no longer mandatory.
COVIDSafe Summer restrictions will be in place until at least the end of January 2021.
