Student recreation at Holmesglen
At Holmesglen, we believe our students’ journey through education should be much more than attending classes. That’s why Holmesglen’s Student Life Team are committed to delivering a rewarding a rich campus experience to all students.
Campus events
Our Student Life Team are the driving force behind a carefully curated calendar of campus activities that acknowledge and celebrate our diverse student community. These events provide opportunities for our students to take a break from their classes and connect with their peers.
Recreation trips
The student experience often extends beyond the boundaries of our campuses. Our students can visit a range of places across Victoria – all at fraction of the cost to help those on a student budget. Weekends away in Eildon, days snowboarding on the slopes of Mt Buller or soaking in the hot springs on the Mornington Peninsula are just some examples of the unique experiences Holmesglen students can enjoy.
Student voice
The Student Representative Council (SRC) is a dynamic student leadership body that represents the voices, ideas, and concerns of the student community. Comprising elected representatives from various programs, the SRC fosters leadership, teamwork, and school spirit through meaningful initiatives and events. Acting as a bridge between students and school administration, the council advocates for positive changes, enhances student engagement, and builds a strong sense of community. Through their roles, SRC members develop essential skills in communication, organisation, and collaboration, making a lasting impact on school life.
