Having started her degree during the pandemic, Michelle not only navigated these difficulties herself but made time to help other international students, lending empathy and compassion.

Thanawat Chuwong

Arriving in Australia to explore the hospitality industry, Thanawat was drawn to studying Information Systems and believes he found his second home at Holmesglen. His lively presence in the class and his endless curiosity about subject matter made him stand out.
Thanawat's leadership abilities were prominently displayed during his role as project manager for the final year Capstone Project and he is actively engaged in mentoring within the BIS course, where he provides guidance and practical advice to fellow students.
He aspires to work in cloud tech and also plans to launch a Thai food business as a side hustle.
Zulfa Soltani
Bachelor of Business Accounting
Zulfa considers her greatest achievement to be successfully balancing motherhood, studying, and holding down three jobs. With aspirations of launching her own accounting practice and achieving independence, Zulfa is determined to carve out her own path.
Active in student leadership roles, she advocates for her peers' interests as a member of the Student Representative Council while also serving as a Holmesglen Student Ambassador.
Zulfa contributes to her community by helping new migrants and refugees with language skills.
"Coming from a country where education is prohibited for girls, I feel fortunate to have access to education here. I find no difficulty in staying motivated to work and study since I am aware of the value of education and the opportunities it presents."
