Studying the Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) at Holmesglen
Studying the Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability), you will develop the skills needed to offer person-centred support to two main groups:<p>- Older individuals, whether they are at home, in the community, or residing in a residential aged care facility.<p>- People living with disabilities, whether they are at home or in the community,<p>During the course, you will also receive COVID-safe infection control training. All the learning materials and support resources are accessible through our online learning management system. To put your newly acquired skills into practice, you will undertake a four-week work placement with some of our prominent industry partners.<p>With the significant success of the NDIS, there is a high demand for qualified workers in all areas of the disability sector. Many of our students are offered employment upon completing their placements.
Entry Requirements
Recognition of prior learning
You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen.
