Studying the Certificate I in General Education for Adults at Holmesglen
Holmesglen’s SWITCH program offers a supportive and flexible learning environment tailored to individual students. With small class sizes and a youth worker integrated into the program, learners receive personalised guidance to help them explore employment and education pathways. A dedicated counsellor oversees the program, ensuring students feel safe and supported as they gain confidence, have fun, and discover new opportunities. Delivered four days a week, Tuesday to Friday, from 9,30am to 2.30pm, SWITCH provides a practical and engaging approach to education. For students struggling in traditional school settings, this program offers a fresh start at Holmesglen’s Waverley Campus, helping them get back on track while aligning with their school calendar.
Entry Requirements
Recognition of prior learning
You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen.
