Entry Requirements

To be eligible, learners must:<p>• Be 18 years or older (exceptions may apply for current Holmesglen students or participants from a school group with a teacher present)<p>• Have a self-declared disability
Prior to enrolment or commencement of training you will be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment and a pre-training interview. These will assist with determining your suitability to the course, verify your training plan, and identify any learning support needs.

Course Structure

Timetable

The following units are delivered over two days, with each unit having a duration of 2.5 hours. Learners can choose to enrol in one or more of these units.<br>SIC10185 Getting job ready<br>SIC10186 Pathway planning<br>SIC10184 Self-advocacy<br>SIC10183 Workplace communication<p>The duration of the SIC10187 Work Experience Short Course will be determined based on both the availability of a suitable opportunity with an employer and the participant's availability.
