Studying the Diploma of Information Technology (Front End Web Development) at Holmesglen

You will be mentored by experienced developers who will help you build a stunning web application and prepare you for your future job as a Web Developer. You'll learn to build rich, responsive websites and web applications using the tools and techniques required in the industry. You will also work with a real client to produce a web solution that meets their needs. Additional support is provided through weekly open lab sessions where you will have a chance to be mentored and guided through problems as you work on your assessment tasks. <p>The delivery format for this course includes face-to-face and a timetabled remote learning option. Practical lessons and programming challenges are supported by supplementary videos/screencasts. Entry Requirements

VCE or equivalent, mature age (at least 18 years and above) with English language proficiency of IELTS 6.0 and must have attainment of the ICT40315 Certificate IV in Web-Based Technologies or ICT40120 Certificate IV in Information Technology (Web Development). Recognition of prior learning

You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. Web Hosting $5 - 10 per month recommended <br>1 TB External SSD Hard Drive, approximately $75 recommended
