Studying the Bachelor of Information Systems at Holmesglen

The Bachelor of Information Systems is professionally accredited with the <a href= "https://www.acs.org.au/ ">Australian Computer Society (ACS).</a><p><br>The course gives students broad capability across the areas of networking, programming, web design, database design, cyber security and business analytics. <p>Subjects feature learning in business analysis, cloud computing, virtualisation, cyber security, big data and business intelligence, business management, information security and network security.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible, students must be at least 18 years of age.<p>Good passes at Year 12 or the overseas equivalent.<br>English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.0 with no individual bandscore less than 6.0. Assessment

A variety of assessment methods are used, including technical reports, laboratory reports, network design models, practical strategy assessments, written assignments, literature reviews, practical case studies, group projects, individual and group presentations, online quizzes, practical labs, exams, research reports, feasibility reports and classroom hurdle tasks. Final year there is a capstone project.
