Study the Certificate IV in Business (Records and Information Management) at Holmesglen equips learners with practical skills essential for managing workplace information systems. Throughout the course, you’ll participate in role-play assessments and complete tasks via the Brightspace LMS, enabling you to develop your skills in a hands-on, supportive environment. Teachers facilitate all workshops, and additional resources, including workshops and chat rooms, are available for further learning and collaboration. Learners also benefit from workplace supervisors acting as mentors, providing guidance and support. The course covers key areas such as managing work priorities, health and safety policies, document creation, and digital technologies for workplace collaboration. By the end of the program, you’ll have the skills to manage records, improve communication strategies, and succeed in a modern business environment.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible, learners must be 18 or older at the start of the course and must be employed in the industry to undertake this traineeship.
Prior to enrolment or commencement of training you will be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment and a pre-training interview. These will assist with determining your suitability to the course, verify your training plan, and identify any learning support needs.

Recognition of prior learning

You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. Traineeship
