Entry Requirements

1. Good passes at Year 12 or the overseas equivalent. <p>2. English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.0 or equivalent. Students must be at least 18 at the commencement of the course.<p>Recommended: A good knowledge of Mathematics, Accounting or Economics.

<strong>Mode of study:</strong> <br>• Full-time or part-time, on campus face-to-face delivery<br>• Full-time or part-time, blended/hybrid delivery<p><strong>Daytime:</strong> Classes run Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm, depending on subjects<br><strong>Evening:</strong> Blended or hybrid classes run Monday to Friday, 5pm - 8pm, depending on subjects <p>All new students commencing in a higher education course must attend their Faculty Course Orientation and Holmesglen's Higher Education Orientation. <p>The course consists of 24 subjects:<br>• 21 core subjects<br>• 3 elective subjects<p>It is worth a total of 144 credit points

Outcomes

Qualification and Recognition

On successful completion of this program, you will be awarded the Bachelor of Business Accounting. This program meets the requirements for professional accounting accreditation with Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA) Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA). Graduates may apply for associate membership of Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA) Australia and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA). Graduates of this degree also meet the academic entry requirements of the Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand (CAANZ) Program. You are advised to refer to the appropriate professional association's website for further details regarding admission and membership requirements.

Student Services and Amenities Fee $365 Per Year

All local higher education students are required to pay a compulsory Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF). This fee contributes to the cost of providing student support services including counselling, welfare services, learning support and other activities provided by the student support and wellbeing teams. The SSAF is charged each semester and the amount you pay depends on whether you’re a full time or part time student. The annual maximum amount is set by the Government and will vary according to your study load. Students studying on campus and online will be charged the same SSAF based on their study load. All local higher education students are required to pay this fee at the time of enrolment.
