The program includes:<br>-Skills and knowledge required to manoeuvre an articulated haul truck<br>-Undertaking loading procedures<br>-Travelling safely across sites with or without loads.<br>-Unloading material <br>-Conforming to site and legislated safety procedures<p>The program and assessment cover the theoretical and safety knowledge that underpins these activities as well as well as opportunities to practice and demonstrate all the skills and required tasks

Entry Requirements

- To be eligible, students must be at least 16 years of age.<br>- Construction Induction Card (CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry) <br>- At least 6 months’ work experience in construction or relevant industry <br>- Current employment in relevant industry and referral from employer
Prior to enrolment you will be required to complete a pre-training review and may be asked to complete a language, literacy and numeracy test. These will assist with determining your suitability to the course and identify any learning support needs.
A pre training review will be conducted which covers the entry requirements

Recognition of prior learning

You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training.
