AGWA judges were impressed by Ehab’s dedication when presenting the Rising Star award; stating, “He’s a very good student, who shows motivation and self-management.”
It’s the second year running a Holmesglen student has taken out an AGWA state apprentice honour for showing excellence in their trade.
Ehab is completing the MSF30422 Certificate III in Glass and Glazing and is employed as an apprentice at Warrnambool’s Merri Aluminum and Auto Doors.
“None of this would've been possible without the people around me. They’ve got me to where I am today in industry,” says Ehab of his award.
Ehab currently works on construction sites in Warrnambool and surrounding areas, installing doors, fly screens, shower screens and wardrobes.
He says the combination of on-site work and part-time on-campus training at our Chadstone campus will eventually help him start his own business.
