Our Student Life Team are the driving force behind a carefully curated calendar of campus activities that acknowledge and celebrate our diverse student community. These events provide opportunities for our students to take a break from their classes and connect with their peers.

Celebrating Authenticity and Support for LGBTQIA+ Youth

Join us from August 24-28 for Wear it Purple, a special event dedicated to supporting LGBTQIA+ young people and celebrating the joy of living authentically.

On-Campus Activities: free Pride Merch and rainbow activities and so much more for you to find out!

7 - 11 September

In today’s fast-paced world, we often find ourselves so caught up in the hustle of daily life that we forget to check in with those around us—our friends, classmates, and colleagues. R U OK? Day is an opportunity to pause and create a space where we can openly talk about mental health and wellbeing. It’s a day to encourage kindness, support, and connection.

Together, we can make a positive impact and help ensure that mental health remains a priority at TAFE.

Recreation trips

The student experience often extends beyond the boundaries of our campuses. Our students can visit a range of places across Victoria – all at fraction of the cost to help those on a student budget. Weekends away in Eildon, days snowboarding on the slopes of Mt Buller or soaking in the hot springs on the Mornington Peninsula are just some examples of the unique experiences Holmesglen students can enjoy. Student voice

The Student Representative Council (SRC) is a dynamic student leadership body that represents the voices, ideas, and concerns of the student community. Comprising elected representatives from various programs, the SRC fosters leadership, teamwork, and school spirit through meaningful initiatives and events. Acting as a bridge between students and school administration, the council advocates for positive changes, enhances student engagement, and builds a strong sense of community. Through their roles, SRC members develop essential skills in communication, organisation, and collaboration, making a lasting impact on school life.
