You will be mentored by experienced developers who will help you build stunning modern websites and prepare you for your future job as a full stack web developer. <p>You'll learn to build elegant, responsive websites and web applications using the tools and techniques required in industry. <p>Open lab sessions are available with experienced developers who can mentor and guide you through any learning challenges. This course focuses on the essential skills and knowledge needed to build front-end web sites and back-end applications.<p>You will learn to create rich, efficient, responsive (mobile ready) and accessible websites. <p>You’ll be trained in a number of in-demand technologies and skills such as: <br>HTML5<br>CSS3<br>JavaScript programming essentials <br>OOP (Object Orientated Programming)<br>DOM Manipulation with JavaScript<br>API requests with JavaScript<br>Web application development with JavaScript<br>JSON<br>GIT<br>User Interface and User Experience Design<br>Responsive Design<br>Bootstrap<br>Database Design (SQL)<br>PHP and WordPress<br>Deployment and Cyber Security.

Entry Requirements

All applicants must be at least 17 years of age. Prior to enrolment or commencement of training, you will be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment via Basic Key Skills Builder (BKSB) and a Pre Training Review interview. <p>These will assist with determining your suitability for the course and identify any learning support needs.

Recognition of prior learning

You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training.
