Holmesglen graduates Sivanthi Punchihewa and Morgana Meighan used their studies in the HLT47315 Certificate IV in Health Administration to find exciting new careers with major health providers and community health clinics.
The course has a range of career pathways including roles as a medical receptionist, ward clerk and medical executive assistant.
Sivanthi undertook a career change after completing a Bachelor of Human Resources by completing health administration at Holmesglen.
“I always wanted to work in health/medical administration and thought this was a good pathway to get a job in the industry,” says Sivanthi.
Morgana’s ambition was also focused on finding a job in an industry she respected – following in similar footsteps to her grandmother and aunt, who both worked as nurses.
“I took a step back and reassessed what I really wanted with my career,” she says.
“I’ve always been interested in the medical field and helping people, and the course seemed like a good step to take. It’s certainly been one of the best I’ve taken.”
