People with disability are increasingly turning to Holmesglen as a place to study in recognition of our award-winning programs, disability support services and strong job outcomes.

Since 2018, enrolments of people with disability jumped 80 per cent (an additional 247 people), according to figures from Victoria’s Department of Education and Training (DET).

For several years, Holmesglen has run an award-winning integrated practical placement program for students with disability wanting to access job opportunities.

Our work with the Royal Children’s Hospital has been particularly successful. Students undertake three nine-week rotations across various departments within the hospital.

The placement program has won several Victorian and Australian Training Awards over the years. Up to 80 per cent of Holmesglen students have gained employment.

We offer disability support services through Student Wellbeing and employ students with disability.

Our Certificates I and II in Work Education have set the standard for helping young adults with learning needs.
