Holmesglen’s Self-Employment program not only helps individuals navigate the early stages of launching a business but also provides ongoing support as they grow.
The Self-Employment Assistance team celebrates success stories like Eduardo’s, illustrating the transformative potential of self-employment and small business ownership.
Holmesglen’s Self-Employment Assistance team participated at the recent Small Business Festival organised by the City of Stonnington. The festival attracted over 100 attendees and featured 27 exhibitors, creating a vibrant space for business enthusiasts and industry experts.
The event offered free seminars, personalised business advice, and opportunities to meet with service providers, making it an invaluable experience for anyone looking to start or grow their own business.
“It was a great collaboration with the City of Stonnington, we had some fantastic speakers and exhibitors and the atmosphere was very positive. We received great feedback from our exhibitors on most of them will be back again next time” said Rosie Johnston, Engagement Officer at Holmesglen’s Self-Employment Assistance program.
For many attendees, the festival was an eye-opener to the variety of supports available through Holmesglen’s Self Employment Assistance program. A government-funded initiative, SEA provides comprehensive training, mentorship, and resources for aspiring entrepreneurs aiming to turn their business dreams into financially sustainable ventures.
For those looking to follow in Eduardo’s footsteps, Holmesglen’s Self-Employment program offers an array of resources to help build sustainable and impactful businesses, making the leap into self-employment both achievable and rewarding.
