As a courtesy to others

  • Campuses are non-smoking except in permitted areas
  • Obey car park signs and speed limits
  • Bicycles and motorbikes must be parked in designated areas only
  • Please consider disabled students or staff on campus, especially when driving
  • Ball games are not permitted in carparks, on roads, walkways, courtyards or any area that is not specified for this use
  • Always carry your student ID card on campus  - students must be able to produce it on request. 

Personal safety tips

  • Report any criminal or suspicious behaviour
  • Don’t leave belongings in unlocked lockers or share lockers
  • Avoid carrying large sums of cash if possible
  • Be aware of your surroundings
  • Conceal valuable items when out in public
  • Never leave bags, laptops or phones unattended
  • Be aware of telephone or online scams, some of these specifically target international students.

Workplace bullying is against the law in Victoria and Holmesglen takes claims of bullying against and between students very seriously. 
Child Abuse
All forms of physical and/or emotional ill-treatment that can result to potential harm to the child’s health.
Discrimination refers to the unfair treatment of a person due to a personal characteristic which is protected by the law.
Family Violence
If you are experiencing behaviour by a family member that creates fear and control, you can get help.
