The partial completion of the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care is a VET Delivered to Secondary Students (VETDSS) course that can only be completed as part of a VCE or VCE VM program. <p>Through the combination of face-to-face, online and practical learning, you will acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to work effectively as a professional team member in an early childhood service. <p>These skills include gaining an understanding of legal and ethical requirements, engaging with young children and their families, facilitating children's leisure and play, and fostering holistic development and wellbeing. <p>The course will be delivered through a mixture of online activities, classroom delivery and simulated Early Learning Centre environment. <p>The two years' part time study through the VET Delivered to Secondary Students program will give you an opportunity to continue your studies in the Early Childhood Education field.
