he program has been designed from the ground up to take advantage of the latest industry software and development environments, giving you the skills necessary to design, develop and deploy games to your target platform. You will make the most of the industry's latest software (including Maya, Unity, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Photoshop, and 3D Coat) and learn create a wide range of games.
During this practical program, you will develop the skills and knowledge you need to get your foot in the door or launch your own indie title.
Skills you will acquire include:

Holmesglen requires all applicants to have the ability to:
• turn on a computer
• connect to the internet
• use a mouse, keyboard, headset with microphone or speakers and webcam
• open and close a software application
• conduct a search in a web browser
• send and receive emails
• save a file, and locate a saved file
• download and install software application
• use webinar software to participate in remote learning.
Learners opting to BYOD or intending to learn remotely will require access to:
• A MAC with the following minimum specification: M2 Pro or Max 12-core CPU, 19-core GPU, 16-core Neural Engine, 512GB of storage and 16GB of RAM.
OR
• A PC/laptop with the following minimum specification: Quad-Core CPU, 16GB of RAM, 512GB of Storage, 4 GHz or faster processor, Windows 10 OS, or higher
• Headset with microphone and webcam (if learning remotely)
• Internet access

You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen.
