The Certificate III in Accounts Administration provides the skills and knowledge you require for a variety of positions within the Australian financial services industry.

It is suitable for people who perform a range of financial roles within an organisation, including the classifying, recording and reporting of accounting information, and other office statements.

The on-campus delivery is highly interactive with structured face-to-face classes, challenging and relevant assignments and projects.


The Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping will prepare you for different jobs in the Australian financial services industry.

Through this certificate, you’ll learn a range of accounting skills. This will include how to prepare financial reports, set up and operate a computerised accounting system, complete business activity and instalment activity statements (BAS) and establish and maintain a payroll system.

You’ll also learn how to be agile and adaptive to ongoing changes in the financial services industry.

This course is also your stepping stone to becoming an assistant accountant, account clerk, bookkeeper or BAS agent.


This course was developed through an extensive collaboration of education experts and leading professionals currently working within the finance and mortgage broking industry.

If you have responsibilities that include business finance and mortgage broking or you would like a pathway into the industry, this course may be for you.

A supportive learning environment is provided, with mortgage brokers and industry mentors developing your knowledge and practical skills.

The course gives you clear pathways into the industry to ascertain the minimum association requirements.

The Australian Securities Investment Commission (ASIC) is the regulatory body for the Mortgage Broking Industry and their minimum requirement for entry into this industry is the FNS40815 Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking.


The Diploma of Accounting will give you the practical skills and knowledge you need to work in the accounting profession.

You will develop a strong working knowledge of the principles of accounting, tax, finance, statistics and law as they apply to the accounting profession, as well as the broader Australian business environment.

Classes are highly interactive, with challenging and relevant assignments and projects. You will gain knowledge and skills in practical accounting applications to gain employment in entry level accounting positions.


This diploma provides you with the opportunity to broaden the scope of your existing broking and business skills. You will build on a variety of skills including commercial lending, broking options and risk management processes.

This course can lead to management job roles in finance and mortgage broking, including roles that are independent or being associated and working under an aggregator, or involve managing a workplace team, such as in a banking institution.

This qualification will enable you to develop risk assessments and action plans for loans at all levels of complexity from credit cards, to mortgages and business loans.

Our program will allow clear pathways for industry requirements to becoming a mortgage broker.

On completion of the Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management, you will be eligible for membership with the Finance Brokers Association of Australia (FBAA).


This course provides vocational training if you are wanting to be RG146 Tier 1 compliant or if you are involved in financial planning, including financial planners or paraplanners.

You will have the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills related to RG146 Tier 1, financial planning, analysis and research, as well as prepare, implement and review financial plans.

This course enables you to give advice in superannuation, as well as provides you with the ability to provide both personal and general advice in the key areas of Financial Planning and Superannuation.

Upon completion of this course you may wish to continue your studies in the Holmesglen skill sets and be RG146 compliant in the areas of Managed Investments, Life Insurance and Self Managed Superannuation Funds.

In this course, you’ll learn advanced financial procedures and principles to succeed as an accountant. With three core units and 11 electives, you’ll gain invaluable expertise in monitoring corporate governance activities, applying economic principles, interpreting and using financial statistics and tools and more.

After completion, you’ll be awarded with a nationally endorsed qualification and have a number of career and further study pathways to pursue, such as the Bachelor of Accounting.

The Master of Professional Accounting equips you with the skills and expertise required to excel in the professional field of accounting. Graduates of the course will have a thorough foundation in the traditional disciplines underpinning the accounting profession.

Throughout the course, you will become proficient in integrating advanced theoretical and technical accounting and related knowledge. This includes auditing and assurance, finance, economics, quantitative methods, information systems, taxation law, and business and corporations law.

In addition, you will develop an understanding of research methods and a selection of advanced taxation law and practice, advanced business and corporations law, corporate governance and management.

Our Master of Professional Accounting is accredited by industry professional bodies, including Certified Practising Accountants (CPA) Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, Institute of Certified Management Accountants (ICMA) and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA).

After completion of this course, you will have the capacity to work and pursue a career in a range of roles, organisations and sectors, both public and private, to provide solutions across a wide array of disciplines encompassed by the accounting profession.

This course is designed for you if you currently hold a Transitional BAS Agent Licence but have yet to complete the BAS Agent skill set, or you wish to fast track your way to completion of the FNS40215 Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or FNS40615 Certificate IV in Accounting.
