Holmesglen delivers the unit of competency: RIIWHS204E Work safely at heights.<p>It includes: <br>Identifying the work requirements<br>Work procedures and instructions for the task<br>Accessing and Installing equipment<br>Performing work at heights<br>Cleaning up the work area<p>This course is also available for corporate clients. Entry Requirements

- A basic command of the English language, both written and verbal, is recommended. Participants may be asked to complete a language and literacy test before being offered a place in the course.<br> - A photo ID must be presented, i.e., a current driver’s licence or passport.<br> - At least 3 months’ work experience in the civil construction or infrastructure industries.<br> - Basic numeracy and literacy skills.<br> - Minimum of 16 years of age.<br> - Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): long pants, a long-sleeve shirt, and safety boots to be worn during training.<br> - Participants are required to pass a practical and theoretical assessment.<br> - A USI number is to be obtained before the start of the class.
There is no prerequisite unit for this course.

Recognition of prior learning

You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training.
