This course, led by experienced trainers, offers practical, hands-on training. You'll develop skills in:<p>Planning and preparing for work tasks<br>Conducting necessary checks, such as site inspections and EWP pre-start checks<br>Performing hazard assessments and implementing controls<br>Positioning and managing EWP movements for safe and efficient work<br>Interpreting and responding to communication signals<br>Adhering to all legislated and site safety measures.

Entry Requirements

• Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (White Card)<br>• At least 3 months work experience in civil construction or infrastructure industries<br>• Minimum 18 years of age
WorkSafe Australia stipulates that assessment is conducted in English<p>Prior to enrolment you will be required to complete a pre-training review and may be asked to complete a language, literacy and numeracy test. These will assist with determining your suitability to the course and identify any learning support needs.

Recognition of prior learning

You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training.
