The Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) has been designed to meet the needs of a building professional who coordinates the construction of a building, taking responsibility for the overall completion of the job, including selecting contractors, overseeing the work and its quality, and liaising with the client.

To receive this qualification you must complete 24 core units and three elective units. Elective units have been chosen by Holmesglen based on feedback from industry and staff qualifications.

Assessments are designed to provide learners with opportunities to demonstrate they have attained the required skills and knowledge using a range of practically based activities and tasks, as required by recognised standards.
International students, who enrol in this program, must have an IELTS 5.5 and a qualification equivalent to year 12
The Learners have to sit for an LLN test and tand should reach and exit level 3 in both Maths and English in the BKSB test.
Recognition of prior learning
You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen. Qualification and recognition
On completion, you will receive the CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) which will assist an application for Builders Registration with the relevant State Regulators
