Study the CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction at Holmesglen and embark on a transformative journey. Our program is designed to set the standard for excellence in construction education, offering a perfect blend of in class activities and simulated practical training.

Our program covers project management, building codes, cost estimation, and construction technology, equipping you with the multifaceted skills needed to excel in project management, site supervision, and the intricate world of building codes and technologies.
With opportunities to connect with industry professionals through seminars and onsite excursions, you will graduate, prepared to make a meaningful impact in the world of construction.
You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen. For Part time learners, it is recommended that they attend two evenings per week per semester from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
To obtain the qualification, you must successfully complete a total of 27 units, including 24 core units and 3 elective units.
The elective units have been carefully selected by Holmesglen based on industry feedback and staff qualifications.
If you have already completed eligible elective units, they can count towards your program completion.
Students who have finished the CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction may receive exemptions for certain units in the CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction.
The range of assessment types gives a realistic overview of the skills and knowledge that the learner has gained and that they can be implemented in building and construction industry.
