Scholarships


Holmesglen has a comprehensive awards and scholarships program available to both students and staff. The program is aimed at  fostering the core values of the Institute - ASPIRE - Ambition; Scholarship; Passion; Integrity; Respect and Excellence.

Scholarships Available


Holmesglen Access Scholarship

All VET programs (Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma)

Value: Up to $1,000 each
Timing: Open 12 February to November 2019


International Student Scholarships

Value: Up to $1,000 each
Timing: Open 1 April to 30 April 2019


Allied Health Assistance

Monash Health/Holmesglen scholarship for Allied Health Assistance students

Timing: Open 12 June 2019


Holmesglen/Monash - Health Programs 2018 Scholarship

Timing: Open 23 Ocotber 2018


Asylum Seeker Scholarship
Value: $1,500 (diploma) $1,000 (Certificate IV or below)
Timing: Open 1 December 2018 to November 2019

 

Koori Access Scholarship

For Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander students in all VET programs (Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma)

Value: Up to $1,000 ($500 per semester)
Timing: Open 1 December 2018 to November 2019


 

Simplot Scholarship

For Hospitality, Cooker, Bakery or Patisserie student in all VET programs (Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma)

Value: Up to $10,000
Timing: Open 1 January to 2 March 2018


The Peter Grundy Scholarship
Available to international students studying in Holmesglen’s VET or higher education programs

Value: Scholarships are normally awarded at $1000 each 
Timing: Open 18 March to 31 December 2019


Other Scholarships 

  1. CHANCES Scholarship (Boroondara only).  CHANCES is a scholarship program for talented and promising young people who live or study in the City of Boroondara.  The program is aimed at providing opportunities and support for young people in the community experiencing financial disadvantage.  The focus is to provide support to facilitate educational achievements for motivated young people. 
  2. Children of Veterans intending Tertiary Studies.  Please check the website for eligibility criteria and details on how to apply www.avcat.org.au
