Explore being my own boss workshop
Explore being my own boss is a workshop designed to help job seekers learn what it means to be an entrepreneur or small business owner. During the workshop, you will learn about the soft and technical skills needed to achieve your business goals, as well as discover more about yourself.
You are not required to set up your business at the end of the workshop, but to have an appreciation of how to do it and an understanding of whether entrepreneurship is a viable career path for you. If you are confident, at the conclusion of this program, that starting a small business is the right path for you joining a NEIS program is likely to be the next step for you.
This is a free workshop, which is run face-to-face in several locations around Melbourne and Adelaide. The course duration is 10 days.
Participants must be
- Receiving an eligible Centrelink allowance, or
