Gardens and horticultural programs have been used for many years as a therapeutic tool in various settings such as hospitals, rehabilitation centres and aged care centres. This course aims to give participants practical advice on how to run a Horticultural Therapy program. Sessions include practical activities, analysis of needs of different target groups, monitoring the program, adaptive tools and therapeutic design.

This course follows on from the Therapeutic gardening Course and includes the health benefits of individual cases studies of patients/clients (particularly in Dementia, Autism and Rehabilitation), Tailoring activities to goals, Detailed research analysis, Overseas programs and more.
