Designed for the home handyperson, this practical course will give you a clearer understanding of MIG Welding and thorough instruction surrounding important safety issues. Techniques such as mild steel and basic down-hand welding are also covered. Learn to carry out more complex welding tasks on projects such as welding gates and fences. This course is not suitable for pregnant or lactating women. You are required to provide some personal protective equipment for this course.


Requirements

    • Appropriate work clothes (ie. long pants or overalls and long sleeved cotton top)
    • Work boots
    • Protective safety glasses
    • Ear plugs
    • Pen and notebook
    • Safety glasses, hearing protection and dust mask are to comply with relevant Australian Standards
