    • Pencil eraser
    • A4 size paper
    • Drawings or plans
    • There are no prerequisites for this course

Outcomes

    • Understand the need for detailed architectural drawings and their role as a communication medium
    • Become familiar with different types of drawing disciplines used in the architectural and building industries
    • Learn the function of a drawing title block including document numbering and drawing management systems
    • Gain understanding of the function of plans, elevations, sections, and details and how they relate to one another including reference and coordination systems
    • Learn about the symbols and line types used on domestic drawings
