Master the basics of effective front reception operations and how to succeed in a busy and demanding business environment. Emphasis will be placed on techniques required when communicating with clients either personally or on the telephone. Topics include; self-confidence, assertiveness and how to handle pressure, plus the functions of a general office and many other job skills.

Outcomes

    • Gain an understanding of the role of the receptionist, with emphasis on the highest standard of 'front of house' techniques
    • Gain further office skills related to business, eg buying and selling, including GST
    • Gain knowledge and skills in the use of office equipment and telephone techniques
    • Gain telephone and personal communication skills
    • Learn to improve self-esteem and confidence
