As little as 17 weeks, our Certificate IV in Travel and Tourism will give you the knowledge and skills you require to apply for employment in a range of highly sought after travel and tourism roles.

To receive this qualification you must complete seven core units and 12 elective units.
Elective units have been chosen by Holmesglen based on feedback from the travel industry.
If you have already completed other eligible units, these may be counted towards completion of this program.
Assessments are designed to provide learners with opportunities to demonstrate they have attained the required skills and knowledge using a range of practically based activities and tasks, as required by recognised standards.

Use a computerised reservations or operations system
Prior to enrolment or commencement of training you will be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment and a pre-training interview.
These will assist with determining your suitability to the course, verify your training plan, and identify any learning support needs.
Mature attitude and approach to study; good communication; organisational and technical skills; ability and desire to work face to face with customers; smart presentation and grooming; and ability to work well under pressure and within a team environment.
All applicants are required to attend an interview.
RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING
You may be able to shorten the length of your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen. QUALIFICATION AND RECOGNITION
A further period of full time study will enable you to complete the SIT50116 Diploma of Travel and Tourism Management.
