Visit us on Open Day to learn about designing, building and managing IT networks andamp; programming using the latest techniques in application development. You'll get the chance to see our dedicated networking facilities as well as talk to teachers about the range of courses on offer, practical applications and pathways. All of our diploma programs lead to a Bachelor of IT with 1 year credit, meaning you start in the 2nd year of the degree. Registrations are essential for sessions to go ahead.

We will introduce you to programming for games, mobile applications, web, and designing and developing computer software.

While studying, take your opportunity to take part in projects with real life clients, allowing you to put the theory gained in classroom into practice.

The Certificate IV in Programming is the ideal pathway into designing and developing computer software. You will be introduced to Java programming, mobile application development and web programming.

You will also have the opportunity to develop high level Java programming skills and be introduced to developing software applications for cloud services.

Modern programming labs and industry standard software development environments will all be available to you in this course.

The second semester of the Certificate IV will include units from the ICT50615 Diploma of Software Development.

After completing the Certificate IV in Programming, students may continue to complete the Diploma in a further six months.

Study the Diploma of Software Development and gain the skills to build a career in the ever-innovating world of digital technology.

Through this course, you will enhance your programming and analytical skills - highly sought after by industry.

The course is delivered via highly interactive cutting edge tutorials. You'll learn how to write programs for the cloud, develop web applications using .NET framework and Microsoft Visual Studio, along with advanced mobile applications using the Android platform including client-server applications and the Internet of Things using Python.

You will draw on your knowledge and skills from the Certificate IV in Programming to build a keystone project, providing customised solutions for a real client. Throughout the project, you'll need to engage with your team to analyse, design, build, test and manage a small-to-medium-sized software information system.
