The Diploma of Information Technology Networking prepares you to work in a networking and systems administrative role in small to large companies.

You will gain the industry knowledge and skills required to work on large complex networks as a network technician or a network manager. Your networking expertise will be highly valued as you take on specialist ICT networking projects, including internetworking, e-business integrations, virtualisation and network security.

The Diploma of Information Technology Networking also provides you with the opportunity to become a member of the Cisco Academy, VMware Academy and Fortinet Academy.

Whilst working on Industry based projects you will have the opportunity to develop in-depth understanding of networking, virtualisation, and project management business problems and develop and implement realistic industry solutions.

Embedded in this course are Cisco Academy and Fortinet Academy learning modules which will equip you with the skills and knowledge to achieve CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) Certification, and Fortinet NSE 1 and 4 Certification.

This course also offers you with certification discount vouchers to support certification exams offered through PearsonVue Testing Centres.

Entry requirements

Completion of the ICT40415 Certificate IV in Information Technology Networking.

RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING

You may be able to shorten the length of your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen. Networking Open Days

Visit us on Open Day to learn about designing, building and managing IT networks andamp; programming using the latest techniques in application development. You'll get the chance to see our dedicated networking facilities as well as talk to teachers about the range of courses on offer, practical applications and pathways. All of our diploma programs lead to a Bachelor of IT with 1 year credit, meaning you start in the 2nd year of the degree. Registrations are essential for sessions to go ahead.
