Visit us on Open Day to learn about designing, building and managing IT networks andamp; programming using the latest techniques in application development. You'll get the chance to see our dedicated networking facilities as well as talk to teachers about the range of courses on offer, practical applications and pathways. All of our diploma programs lead to a Bachelor of IT with 1 year credit, meaning you start in the 2nd year of the degree. Registrations are essential for sessions to go ahead.

This is a VET Delivered to Secondary Students Course (previously VETiS) and can only be completed as part of your VCE or VCAL program.

This course provides the skills and knowledge for you to be competent in a wide range of general information technology (ICT) technical functions. After successfully completing this course, you may be able to be employed as an information technology support worker. Jobs are available across a wide range of ICT areas, including technical support, systems administration and network administration.

This is a two-year program open to school-aged students from Years 10 to 12. Over the course of the program, you will have the option of undertaking a scored VET in VCE.

Explore new opportunities as you begin a career in networking, cyber Security and ICT support. Industry needs people like you to support the rapid growth of the digital world.

This course focuses on three key learning areas; networking, cyber security and ICT support.

You will rapidly build strong foundation skills and knowledge for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting small to medium network environments.

Holmesglen is a CISCO Networking Academy and as part of this course you will be learning CCNA1.

Additionally, you begin to recognising the need for cyber security in an organisation. You will also learn to test concepts and procedure for cyber security.

Learn anywhere. This is a fully online generalist course.

The Certificate IV in Information Technology Support will give you the practical skills and knowledge required to work as a paraprofessional dealing with technology, in a support role.

Through a blend of on-the-job assessment and training, and online material, you’ll develop your prowess in areas such as customer service, fault finding, help desk consulting, devising effective solutions and more.

If you're looking for a pathway into the information and communications technology field then this is the course for you.

Practical and hands-on, it provides you with a broad range of skills in the IT support, networking and project support fields.

Small wireless networks, large-scale networks and intranets. If you have a passion for designing and constructing networks, then the Certificate IV in Information Technology is the right course for you.

You'll learn in state-of-the-art networking laboratories, equipped with the latest and greatest tools and technology.

And you will develop skills in a wide range of areas including network design, server management, virtualisation, operating systems and network security.

After graduating, you’ll be awarded the Certificate IV in Information Technology Networking.

Then, you can undertake another six months of further study to acquire the Diploma of Information Technology Networking – your gateway to a Bachelors degree.
