Learn how to empower, manage and motivate with our Diploma of Leadership and Management.
Confident leadership is rooted in a strong understanding of the latest and greatest management processes. That’s why through this course, you’ll learn how to effectively oversee the work of others – while shaping the management practices of tomorrow.
We teach you how to manage budgets, financial plans and risk, develop and use emotional intelligence, plan market research and much more in preparation for a career in a managerial or supervisory role.
What do you receive when you graduate? A nationally endorsed qualification and credits toward the Bachelor in Business Administration or other degrees.
To receive this qualification you must complete four core units and eight elective units.
Elective units have been chosen by Holmesglen based on feedback from industry and staff qualifications.
If you have already completed other eligible elective units, these may be counted towards completion of this program.
Please note elective units may vary from semester to semester, depending on whether students complete the diploma on a part time evening or full time day basis.
Assessments are designed to provide learners with opportunities to demonstrate they have attained the required skills and knowledge using a range of practically based activities and tasks, as required by recognised standards

Satisfactory completion of Holmesglen's Certificate IV in Business, or good passes at Year 12/Matriculation, or the overseas equivalent.
English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 5.5 (Academic) with no individual bandscore less than 5.5
RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING
You may be able to shorten the length of your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen. QUALIFICATION AND RECOGNITION
After successfully completing this course, you will be eligible to receive the nationally endorsed BSB51915 Diploma of Leadership & Management.
Students who successfully complete the Diploma of Leadership & Management are eligible for credits towards the Holmesglen BBA14 Bachelor of Business Administration or BBMM14 Bachelor of Business (Marketing Management).
