The Diploma of Human Resources management will introduce you to the key skills required for people management.

Gain skills in communication, negotiation and the ability to manage different interests in areas such as recruitment and performance management.

You will also gain experience and the opportunity to apply your skills through an industry placement.


Course structure

To receive this qualification you must complete six core units and three elective units. Elective units have been chosen by Holmesglen based on feedback from industry and staff qualifications. If you have already completed other eligible elective units, these may be counted towards completion of this program.

Entry requirements

Satisfactory completion of Holmesglen's Certificate IV in Business or good passes at Year 12/Matriculation, or overseas equivalent, with passes in all subjects.

English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 5.5 (Academic) with no individual bandscore less than 5.5

RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING

You may be able to shorten the length of your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen. Upon completing this course, you will be receive the nationally endorsed BSB50615 Diploma of Human Resources Management.

PATHWAYS

On satisfactory completion of the BSB40215 Certificate IV in Business, followed by the BSB50615 Diploma of Human Resources Management, you will be eligible to receive credits towards the Bachelor of Business Administration at Holmesglen.
