Throughout the Diploma of Human Resources Management, we’ll train you to tackle key HR tasks including managing employee relations, workforce planning, separation, termination and more.

You can then either enter the industry as a HR officer, OHS officer, recruitment officer and more – or transfer your credits to the Bachelor of Business Administration.


Course structure

To receive this qualification you must complete six core units and three elective units. Elective units have been chosen by Holmesglen based on feedback from industry and staff qualifications. If you have already completed other eligible elective units, these may be counted towards completion of this program.

Entry requirements

VCE (ATAR) or equivalent; or mature age (at least 18 years of age and away from formal study for at least one year).

Prior to enrolment or commencement of training you will be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment and a pre-training interview. These will assist with determining your suitability to the course, verify your training plan, and identify any learning support needs.

RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING

You may be able to shorten the length of your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen. Outcomes

QUALIFICATION AND RECOGNITION

Upon completing this course, you will be receive the nationally endorsed BSB50615 Diploma of Human Resources Management.

PATHWAYS

On satisfactory completion of the BSB40215 Certificate IV in Business, followed by the BSB50615 Diploma of Human Resources Management, you will be eligible to receive credits towards the Bachelor of Business Administration at Holmesglen.
