Studying the Certificate IV in Health Administration at Holmesglen
You will be taught the legal and ethical requirements within the health industry, including how to work with culturally diverse clients and manage patient records.
This course is also suitable if you provide administrative functions in health and medical services where you are required to work autonomously or as a senior member of staff in an administrative team.
October intake is only available to applicants who wish to study part time.

The course will be delivered in a hybrid model, meaning students can attend classes remotely or on campus. Classes are scheduled across four days over a semester.
The qualification consists of 14 units, six core units and eight electives.

Assessments are designed to provide learners with opportunities to demonstrate they have attained the required skills and knowledge using a range of practically based activities and tasks, as required by recognised standards.

Recognition of prior learning
You may be able to shorten the length of your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen.
