This course provides comprehensive training for solid plastering, covering all practical and theoretical aspects of the trade.

Solid plastering deals with the application of gypsum and cement materials in a plastic state spread and formed to a desired finish.

It is integral to the modern day construction process.

As a particularly visible element of any structure, it requires attention to detail and is relevant to contemporary building, as well as to restoration and heritage work.

Solid plasterers are required to work on all types of internal and external finishes, therefore a great degree of skill and knowledge is required.

Extensive job opportunities exist if you have relevant training.

Course structure

To successfully achieve the CPC31011 Certificate III in Solid Plastering, you must complete 15 core units and five elective units.

Elective units selected are delivered during second and third years, and one may be a relevant Certificate III or IV unit from another endorsed training package.
