Studying the Certificate III in Flooring Technology at Holmesglen
You will become proficient in the installation of a variety of carpets and underlays, including carpet tiles, in both commercial and domestic premises.
Flooring technology will see you working in both domestic and commercial sites and renovation projects.
Holmesglen has been training flooring technology apprentices for more than 15 years. Training is delivered in our especially designed facilities, with a focus on providing hands-on, practical training.

Assessments are designed to provide learners with opportunities to demonstrate they have attained the required skills and knowledge using a range of practically based activities and tasks, as required by recognised standards.
As this is an apprenticeship, you must have a training agreement with a registered employer from a relevant industry.
Recognition of prior learning
You may be able to shorten the length of your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen. Qualification and recognition
After completing your apprenticeship, you will receive the nationally endorsed MSF30818 Certificate III in Flooring Technology.
How to apply
A training contract must be completed by the employer and apprentice within the first two weeks of employment.
An Australian Apprenticeship Support Network representative will visit the workplace to complete the training contract with the employer and the apprentice.
