The Restricted Electrical Workers Licence - Class 2 (Appliances) course is designed for those needing to disconnect and reconnect equipment associated with their primary trade, vocation or occupation, such as licensed tradespersons or people holding a relevant CPC32413 Certificate III in Plumbing.
The course is delivered for five days over one week, Monday to Friday.
On completion of the program you will have the training required for the Restricted Electrical Licence (REL) through Energy Safe Victoria (ESV).
This program does not include the ESV Independent Assessment. The Independent Assessment is separate to the program and not included in the cost of the program.
Your Course Instructor will provide further details about the ESV Assessment and Licence requirements during the program.

Assessments are designed to provide learners with opportunities to demonstrate they have attained the required skills and knowledge using a range of practically based activities and tasks, as required by recognised standards.
The Restricted Electrical Workers Licence - Class 2 is applicable to people employed in a primary work function where there is a need to disconnect/reconnect electrical equipment that is incidental to their primary function.
Before enrolling in the course, it is recommended that you contact Energy Safe Victoria to assess your eligibility for the Restricted Electrical Worker's Licence - Class 2.
You will be required to provide a copy of the course acceptance letter issued by ESV confirming eligibility to undertake this program.

Qualification and recognition
On completion, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for the course.
