New course spotlight - Introduction to the National Disability Insurance Scheme
The National Disability Insurance Scheme is helping Australians living with disability enjoy a better quality of life. From this, community services and health professionals are performing significant roles in the sector supporting these aims.
To meet this need, we’re offering an introductory course for those keen to work in the disability field. The course will serve as a complement to our CHC43115 Certificate IV in Disability – which is still seen as the industry qualification for entry into the sector.
The one-day-a-week course is an ideal introduction to the field or beneficial for those looking to upskill on previous training. Our course will cover areas that include how to support NDIS participants, human rights approaches, work as a direct support worker, and complete documentation.
