Holmesglen agrees to take over Navitas’ Health Skills Australia Melbourne campus
We have agreed to take over Navitas’ Health Skills Australia (HSA) campus in Melbourne’s city centre to offer Victorian students more opportunities to study a Diploma of Nursing.
We will assist existing HSA students to transfer their studies and complete their Diploma of Nursing to graduate with a Holmesglen qualification.
Last month, we received the Industry Collaboration Award at the 2018 Victorian Training Awards for our Healthscope partnership, which established Australia’s first TAFE-based hospital at our Moorabbin campus in 2017.
Holmesglen Chief Executive, Mary Faraone says the new Bourke St campus will complement the Moorabbin campus, which includes the internationally recognised Holmesglen Simulation Centre, and nursing and allied health teaching facilities.
“With nursing on the Victorian Government’s Free TAFE Courses list for 2019, and continued jobs growth in this space, there has never been a better time to enrol in the Diploma of Nursing,” Ms Faraone says.
“Our credentials in health training will serve current and future students well.”
