Jarryn Geary is the current St Kilda Football Club captain – a position he has held since the 2017 season. Jarryn’s football career is a picture of perseverance and dedication. He was selected with pick No. 58 in the 2006 Rookie Draft and has since gone on to play 183 games. The 30-year-old finished second in the 2016 Trevor Barker Award (St Kilda Football Club’s Best and Fairest) and then played every game of the 2017 season, where he served as a pivotal part of the Saints’ back six. Outside of football, Jarryn is passionate about saying “no” to domestic violence and has chosen to become an ambassador for Run for Change to help build awareness for the important social cause. He believes it’s an important message for everyone in the community to get behind.
